What We Collect
Embed Bot collects information necessary to provide AI customer support services:
- Account Information: Email, name, and company details when you sign up
- Conversation Data: Customer messages processed through your AI agents
- Training Data: Knowledge base content you upload to train your agents
- Integration Data: Slack workspace info, email configurations (encrypted)
- Usage Data: Message volume, feature usage, and performance metrics
How We Protect Your Data
Encryption
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). API tokens and credentials use additional encryption.
Access Controls
Strict role-based access. Your agents only access your data. No cross-tenant data sharing.
AI Processing
OpenAI API used for responses. We do not train AI models on your data. Data retention per your settings.
Compliance
GDPR compliant data handling. SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure.
Slack & Email Integrations
When you connect Slack or email:
- We store OAuth tokens encrypted (never shared)
- We only access channels you explicitly select for escalations
- Email content is processed to generate AI responses
- You can disconnect integrations anytime; we delete tokens immediately
- We do not store Slack message history beyond active escalations
Data Retention & Deletion
- Conversations: Retained per your plan settings (30-365 days)
- Training Data: Kept until you delete your agent
- Account Data: Deleted 30 days after account closure
- Export: You can export all your data anytime from dashboard
